A little bit about me!

I am currently in Guanajuato, Mexico studying at the Universidad de Guanajuato (http://www.ugto.mx/sitioug/ingles/estructura/index.asp) and living with the Moron Gaytan family.  However, first and foremost I am in my third year at St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia studying Aquatic Resources and loving it all!  If you’re curious why I wanted to ever leave such a place (even if it is only for 6 months) the answer would be simply that I have always wanted to try it and this seemed like an excellent opportunity to test my own capabilities on my own before rushing headlong into the “real world”.  It’s been a lot of hard work to get to this point and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the tremendous amount of support from faculty, friends and family!  All in all I highly recommend studying abroad to anyone if they have the chance!

[ ]   Visit San Miguel

[ ]   Pass all of my courses (duh)

[ ]   Cook a typical Mexican dish  :S
